Homes Getting Multiple Offers and Under Contract In Less Than A Month, According to New Report

And, according to recently released data, it’s clear that the current market is fulfilling those two conditions—making it an ideal time for sellers.

According to data in the REALTORS® Confidence Index Survey August 2020 from the National Association of REALTORS®, it’s clear that buyer competition in the market is fierce. According to the report, in August, homes in the US were on the market for a median of 22 days. And before closing, homes received an average of 3.2 offers—and when sellers have multiple offers to choose from, it generally results in a higher selling price.
