I understand this, and I am an expert in relocation. I have a long history of finding buyers the right home by following a refined process to help speed up your search.
When most buyers go into home search mode - they may end up with 50+ listings to view. Naturally, that's too many houses to look at if you're on a short visit from out of town! I will help you to narrow your search down to a couple dozen properties, keeping these things in mind:
- Send me two lists a few days before arriving: One should be of things you require in your new home. The other should be for optional things you want. When a house doesn't even meet your needs, we can cross it off the list.
- Know your budget. If you are going to get a home loan, know your pre-approved amount prior to seeing listings so we can eliminate homes which exceed your budget.
- How long of a commute are you ready to make each day to your job and other interests? Traffic in the Palm Beach County area could be different than what you're currently experiencing, so let me know your expected drive-time, and I'll find homes accordingly.
Before we meet in person, I could send you recommendations for properties we should see first. Or if you've already started your search, let me know what you've found. While seeing listing photos on the web is helpful, there's nothing like walking through homes in person. Let me set up any necessary appointments and map a route. By planning ahead, we could visit 8 to 10 homes in a single day.
